"Our Girls"

The more time we spend with these girls the more they feel like they are "ours"! Individually they are great and together they are amazing!!!

Hit the Trail!

With literally no time to recover from the 50th birthday bash, we hit the trail and led the Girls Camp 4th year girls on our annual backpacking trip. We had a terrific group of girls and leaders and the beautiful area around Bear River Reservoir to hike. I love the physical exertion but the mental ease and simplicity of backpacking.

Celebrating 100 Years!

50+50=100
Corey and I celebrate our birthdays in July and this year the girls felt it only appropriate to have a BIG celebration. It was a wonderful celebration of life, love, family, and friends. We truly feel so fully blessed and grateful for our lives that are filled with love of family and friends and wonderful experiences that remind us daily of God's infinite love.

Embarassed......

em·barrassed (m-brsd) To cause to feel self-conscious or ill at ease; disconcert.

This word is no longer exists in my vocabulary. I'm 50 now. I admit, I occasionally felt embarrassed in my 20's and 30's and occasionally in my 40's. More often, I embarrassed my children! It's actually a great feeling (filling) not to feel (fill) embarrassed. So my latest I don't feel embarrassed feeling has to do with Justin Bieber. I LOVE him and I'm not embarrassed to admit it. He's adorable and he can sing and he can dance. And I realized the other morning, that he can make me run that last mile of my run like the wind with a smile on my face.
