Lazy days of summer.....

So, what happened to May, June and half of July??? We have celebrated 5 birthdays, Mother's and Father's Day, 2 graduations, 2 national holidays, had Jana and her husband move home, and Megan move to Provo, backpacked with the 4th year girls for our church's Girls Camp, made many trips to SF and Merced to be with Corey's mom during her back surgery and recovery, attended my sister Susan's wedding, planning Erin and Chance's wedding, and have actually even managed to spend time pool-side and at the beach. I love summer but it is just passing much too quickly! We are now preparing to go on a reenactment of a pioneer handcart trek with 300+ youth and adults from our church. We get to spend 3 days (and nights) on the trail dressed in authentic clothing (except for my hiking shoes!) pushing a handcart for about 20 miles up in the Sierras. It should be a real adventure-both physically and spiritually.
