We took our first trip to southern Utah following our General Conference weekend with the Utah kids. It was breathtaking so say the least. Megan and Emma were terrific hikers and the photo-opportunities were simply amazing. The big hike was Angel's Landing which only Corey and Megan made all the way to the top! There were parts of the hike where there was not much ground to walk on and sheer drop offs on both sides....only a chain to hold on to! Never thought I was afraid of heights until that day. Megan was hiking in front of me and didn't think it was really necessary to hold on the whole time....I lost it right then and there. Couldn't proceed to the top and Emma agreed to come down the mountain with me. Then I just prayed for the next hour and a half that Corey and Megan wouldn't die. I was so relieved when I saw them scaling back down the mountain side. Great memories!
